Again I used a basic Terragen - Scene to start with. There is some of it left this time. The rest ist painted in Photoshop.

Nice work, very relaxing... going to have to reinvestigate Terragen when I have more time to do artwork again.

Out of interest, how do you generate your base terrains (before painting in all the weird and wonderful details)?

Oooh, looks very cold, the gasgiant is well done, nice natural colours, and its rings are flawless too, and once again, you made a plain o'l teragen scene into a bizarre sci-fi setting, and I like how you added the land showing beneath the water, it actually looks very warm and clear, like a thermal pool :relax:

actually the blue lake was inspired by a "hot mineral spring" in Iceland, where I've been recently. :D

lol, then I guess I kinda guessed close :XD: I can tell by the steam coming from those vents that even though this may be a cold planet, that is still some hot water ( in that case, no-one would want to get out if its too cold lol )
